ASD Evaluations for the

New Evaluators

NWRESD | October 13, 2022 - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm | Hybrid: In-Person & via Zoom 

This full-day training opportunity is available for your district's school-age ASD Evaluation needs. This will be offered to licensed, school-age (K-21) SPED staff* and will be available on-line via Zoom.

Workshop Presenter

Tina Meier-Nowell, ASD Team, will provide the training. She has over 20 years expertise in evaluating and serving students with complex needs.

Workshop

October 13, 2022;  8:30 am - 3:30 pm

  • Target Audience: Licensed, school-age (K-12) staff who are new to ASD evaluations.
  • Topic: Participants will learn about the ASD criteria for educational eligibility, required evaluation components, and the tools and information in the Technical Assistance Paper (TAP).
  • Zoom: If attending by Zoom, details will be eMailed to you shortly before the start of training.

    Cost: Free | Flyer: ASD Evaluation Training | PDUs: Six (6.0) 

    Certificate of Attendance: You must be present on-line or in-person to receive PDUs and a Certificate of Attendance.

    *Target Audience: This training is geared toward school-age (K-21), licensed staff. However, EI/ECSE staff may choose to attend, but are encouraged to attend the EI/ECSE fall 2022 department training, as there is specific procedural information that will not be covered at this training.
