Implementing ABA & Evidence-Based Practices
As used in the STAR Program
September 19-20, 2022 at NWRESD from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm/daily
This two-day workshop is appropriate for teachers, assistants, related service providers, specialists, and administrators working with children and students with ASD and other related developmental disabilities.
Participants will receive training on how to use the following ABA instructional strategies:
-Discrete trial training
-Pivotal response training
-Teaching functional routines
-Positive behavior intervention and supports as used in the STAR Program
Workshop Presenters
Oregon Program Autism Training Sites (OrPATS) and NWRESD support staff.
Additional Information
-This free workshop is being provided by funding from OrPATS and is co-sponsored by Northwest Regional ESD.

-A total of 12 PDUs will be awarded for your 2-day attendance.
ESD Employees: sign-up on Frontline to receive your PDUs directly into your Professional Development log. Registration for the class is still required on this site.
-Coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the day.
-Lunch will be on your own. The attached food map shows local restaurants and where food items can be purchased for lunch.
-Conference room temperatures can vary throughout the day, therefore, we recommend that you wear layers.
