This training opportunity is available for your district's school-age ASD Evaluation needs. This will be offered to licensed, school-age (K-21) SPED staff* and will be available on-line via Zoom.

Workshop Presenter

Tina Meier-Nowell, ASD Team, will provide the training. She has over 20 years expertise in evaluating and serving students with complex needs.

ASD Behavior Rating Tools - Going Deeper & Problem-Solving Forum:
  • Date/Time: October 21, 2021; 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  • Target Audience: Licensed, school-age (K-12) special education staff with limited experience with students across the autism spectrum who will be conducting ASD evaluations.
  • Topic: This session will begin by allowing participants the opportunity to bring forward any questions they have regarding ASD evaluation in general as well as specific cases in which they'd like to discuss for additional support. The content presented will focus on two standardized behavior rating tools, the Social-Responsiveness Scale-2 (SRS-2), and the Childhood Autism Rating Scale-2 (CARS-2). Background information, considerations, and scoring will be discussed.
