ADOS-2

January 11-14, 2021 (Monday-Thursday) | On-line via Zoom

9:00 am to 12:30 pm (daily)

This Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) training will center on the theory, administration, and scoring of this interactive, evidence-based assessment. The training will be in lecture format along with live demonstrations to introduce the basic principles of administering and scoring the ADOS-2, thus providing an essential step toward competence in using the ADOS-2 in the school environment. Attendees will also gain a fundamental understanding of Modules 1-4.

Your presenter will be Dr. Tanya St. John, University of Washington Autism Center, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Research Scientist.  She completed her doctoral work at Seattle Pacific University, predoctoral internship at City of Hope National Medical Center, and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington Autism Center.  Dr. St. John has devoted her career to understanding autism across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on toddlers and young children. Dr. St. John has served as project manager and diagnostic clinician on various NIH-funded studies, including the Infant Brain Imaging Study and is an independent ADOS trainer.
