Washington County Mental Health Summit

Presented By: WA County Mental Health support services, various agencies, school districts, and NWRESD staff 

Meeting Purpose: The Mental Health Summit will provide attendees from all seven school districts and ESD staff with up-to-date information on how school professionals can help youth and families access mental health services in Washington County.  General information regarding program services, eligibility, referral processes, and any costs will be covered. Seven break-out sessions will be offered with the ability to attend three. The event will conclude with a networking session and snacks.

Attendees should gain knowledge regarding the mental health services system in Washington County and how to help families access the various services and programs provided.  Some contact information and pertinent materials and brochures will be available for future reference by participants. The information provided is appropriate for anyone working in school districts likely to refer families to mental health services, such as school district care coordinators and social workers, school counselors, school psychologists, SPED case managers, appropriate administrators/teachers, homeless liaisons, staff who work with migrant and immigrant families, etc.

Payment Options:

1. Districts can be invoiced directly for staff who attend.

2. NWRESD employees can request use of their HR conference dollars. Please complete the Conference Request on-line form (in Frontline Education) and submitPlease do not register for the conference until you receive official confirmation from HR that you have been approved!  Please eMail your HR conference approval to D. Farrar and then you can register. To automatically receive PDU credits to your Professional Development Log, please register in Frontline. However, you will still need to register on this site to be able to attend.

3. PayPal payments accepted. Please complete at check-out. PayPal account not required. 

Your registration will reflect "awaiting payment" until NWRESD staff manually updates the record.

Cancellation Policy:

Registrations cancelled on or prior to 10/14/2019 will be refunded 100%.

Registrations cancelled on or after 10/15/2019 will not be refunded.
